any good anime, preferably with good romance?

Bokura Wa Minna Kawaisou Kyoukai No Kanata White Album 2 Kimi No Iru Machi Suzuka Honey and Clover Hyouka Kokoro Connect Nodame Cantabile To name a few.

in my opinion one of the best "non anime" like anime, as i like to call them, is "Nana", just an absolute masterpiece for even non anime viewers to enjoy, but if you want something more..."traditional" is "inu x boku ss", another good one is "kyoukai no kanata" and "nagi no asukara" but like anything it's completely subjective, for example i really disliked toradora and dropped it after a few episodes, so see what suits you the most

Some good movies if your looking for a fast fix "whisper of the heart" and "wolf children" (your get the same nice fuzzy feeling from that last one even though you might not consider it a romance). If your in for a good SyFy Romance check out Kurau Phantom Memory and if your don't mind your anime being old check out Banner of The Stars/ Crest of The Stars. Hope I Helped.

I'll throw out the short film Hotarubi no Mori e. And these aren't my personal recommendations, but I knew someone who liked romance stories and loved 'Aqua and Aria,' 'Rose of Versailles,' and 'Emma: A Victorian Romance.' Then there's Junjou Romantica for the yaoi lover.

Ao Haru Ride was a pretty good romance anime. Gedo Senki is a beautiful Studio Ghibli film that has a fair amount of action but is also very romantic and touching. Kuragehime and Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun are also excellent romantic comedies.
