Women now have to register for the draft

As of this morning, the Senate passed a bill where women now have to sign up for Selective Service. This has been going on for a few months now, but it was passed this morning. I also had to register for Selective Service, but I've never heard of anyone actually getting drafted. I also didn't know South Korea did that. I knew that they made men do it because my favorite KPOP stars had to leave for that. And I'm hoping that they're not just drafting for combat roles haha. The thing about being able bodied is true, but being able minded is different, right? They might be able to recruit people who can pass the physical exams, but that won't mean that they have the mentality to take a life.

Yes it's fair. If Women want to be grunts, they can get drafted and fight in a Two-man fighting hole in the defense like a grunt. I have no problem with women being in combat roles but one of the most testosterone dominated branches is trying to fight that. They say the women are scientifically not capable of being in the infantry. They also put in things like the "MISFITS" to keep females out of the infantry. Sad is that EVEN males fail the buddy drag portion of that test. Also they are enacting more 20 mile test hikes before deployments to try to cut females from infantry. Like I said I don't see a problem with it but testosterone has a keen effect on military men.

@differentdrum no I'm not saying draft is coming back. Yes it's a register system that says you're eligible for draft. I'm saying that SS should apply to both sexes since females want to be infantry and special forces. @Beherit I totally agree with you SS should be removed all together.
