Yeah I once saw a guy hitting on a misty cosplayer and it was obvious she was uncomfortable. My brother and I just stuck around so she knew she wouldn't be alone with the guy. I kinda made excuses so the guy would leave and go to the game room. She thanked us and my brother and I went our ways. I keep my distance cause I know I'm not a teen anymore and it might be awkward for them. Honestly I do ask people for pics first and mostly it's because it's a VERY well done costume, like crazy detail that you just know months of effort and money went into it, or if they're cosplaying as an obscure or non anime character. Other than asking how they made their costume and whatnot I don't really start conversation, I just move on to the next awesome cosplay. I don't know about people going to cons to hook up. If anything I meet cool friends there but a potential girlfriend? Nah. Why waste your time. Enjoy the con.

Honestly I never heard any 'I got laid at a con' stories. The only ones I know are people that were already couples before the con so a little fun between them is nothing.

Ok ive noticed you guys seem to be striving to create a hierarchy here. Like i understand that once and a while there is that guy you keeps trying to hit on everything.but it seems like we have been infiltrated by fake otaku who are charming and only do this for girls. Sigh* im preaching to no one i just miss the days when otakus and nerds didnt have to deal with bullies at our own events. Not that any of you care.

Im not talking about those actual creeps who go around grabbing. Screw him I meant the meek common otakus
