Audacity is a good program for audio editing/recording. I saw this video awhile back dunno if it helps or whatever: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=At4g7r_Us8o I sometimes like to layer my asmr so I'm not a fan of quiet whispering, sometimes I prefer normal talking I dunno I'm weird.
