Casual sex doesn't have to be a one night stand. Sometimes you and a friend aren't compatible for a relationship but are still horny so you have sex till one of you finds someone else for a relationship. I've never had that situation but it would be fine with me. Finding a good relationship and someone compatible is hard but as a guy I want sex 24/7 and masturbation is never as satisfying as sex. Sex is my favorite thing ever. I prefer it in a relationship but I still want it even if I'm not in one. It feels better than anything else in the world.

I've gone through phases of not seriously seeing anyone its not for the faint of heart. You have to really try not to see them emotionally sometimes. As to preserve the nature of things sometimes it's that people arent meant for one another to force a relationship to preserve moral standards can be more damaging.
