i agree somewhat i think it should be suspended until the science is properly in, but just the way you put it was pretty offensive to trans people xD men and women are born with vastly different bodies, men have denser bones than women being one but i do wonder if the hormone therapy does change that? and if it does then i think it gives credit to the trans athletes i dont think we know too much about how long it takes for that kinda of stuff to take effect though and the effects long term im pretty conflicted personally on the topic as i dont want things to be unfair but it also feels wrong to discriminate

The hormones do change muscle and bone density. However it is a controversial topic and I'm not sure how well recorded it is. The endocrine system is difficult to study because it governs very slow processes in the body. It's the primary system that affects genders. So in hormone therapy they are changing the endocrine system to match the other gender. Transgenderism is about feelings first. Then through hormone therapy and surgery the body is altered to match their inner feelings with the outside. Hormone therapy brings the most changes. If these athletes are on hormone therapy than from strictly a biological sense they are no longer a "dude with a vagina."

I couldn't really say on those things. Sports are hard to measure at the peak levels. What pushes a person beyond gets into emotion. There is no way to quantify emotions currently. I can't say on who breaks records either. About the only sports I watch are boxing and mma occasionally. You'd need a professional team measuring everything to really figure out if trans athletes are disrupting anything. I only wrote about hormone therapy to give you a better idea of the kind of body a trans individual might possess. Not trying to knock your feelings in the process. Express away.

about “sorry about your feelings but we should be more rational here” i think that also effects you, ruby you came in saying that these trans people have penises still, which isn't true, and it seemed you had an opinion right out of the gate without knowing any of the nuisance in this complicated topic the rational decision would be to research the science of it and until you have a properly informed opinion to not go on an anime forum thread and post something like that xD i dont mean to argue on this, its just a very spicy topic and your words could be harmful to some people
