not long ago my classmates was talking about the final destination movies as well, maybe they are in everyones algorithm lately

Yeah but it's a bit more. It's ambiguous in that you don't know if what's happening is human nature and real or if there's a other force. Which is why I think Final Destination might be popping up. Season 2 just recently ended but Season 1 was more like an Alive meets Lord of the Flies kind of set up. Instead of a rugby team it's a girls soccer team that's plane crashes in the 90s. The show is set up to show like half the scenes in the 90s during the surviving part and half in the present time showing the aftermath of the survival years.
