@vercuassault Outstanding work! So stunning.
@mikihiko No it was his own place. We were friends prior who met at Uni a few years prior, and he was somewhat messy to begin with. had never consider him as room mate material ever.

I find it coincidental that a large group of people become universally depressed at the same time. They may not have the same triggers, but they all feel low energy at around the same interval. Someone will say there is no correlation and yet I find it fascinating still. It is as if we as people share some link. When enough negative energy falls upon one the greater mass consciousness appears to tip into meloncholy. Then there are the outliers.

This is the part that is going to piss off a lot of people. It is a Resident Evil game and in order to complete it, we are going to have to kill the Romanian beauty, Lady Dimitrescu.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. touches on that idea with the concept of the noosphere. The noosphere being an invisible informational field that surrounds areas of concentrations of conscious beings. There have been studies though to give the idea some level of validity. For some reason, peoples limbic systems have been synchronizing. As far as the reason is unknown. It could be hormonal with a stress hormone being released causing other people to produce stress hormones themselves. It could be some previously unknown function of the human brain to link up with other brains acting as a temporary hive mind when needed.

Oops, I forgot to elaborate on STALKER being a game. Which there is going to be a sequel to later this year. Touches on a few interesting ideas. I say give it a try, just be sure to install the Oblivion Lost mod first before playing.
In any case the concept of the noosphere came from some French guy in the late 1800s as being the 3rd evolution of a planet. First being the Terrasphere which is matter and physical objects, second is the Biosphere where complex organic beings come into play. Finally we have the Noosphere where conscious beings capable of thought come into play. However the Noosphere is constantly evolving like the Terrasphere and Biosphere. As new matter and compounds are made for the Terrasphere and new species for the Biosphere, consciousness is similarly evolving into new forms.
Again this is just an idea that popped out of the 1800s and I'd take it with a grain of salt. It is an interesting idea though and is fun to play around with in fiction.
