I prefer to persevere as an introvert than to end my life on purpose as much as possible in life no matter how much others try to make me be them. Being myself, that's my preferred personality, if they want me to be outgoing, they and even my family will like it and I won't. The important thing is not to give them pleasure because the only one who knows how it feels good is me and that is the important thing. Being popular is not required. Becoming a social norm is one way to "kill yourself", completely different from suicide. It's called "ruining yourself forever". Social norms usually hate innovation and think what they are living off of is "perfect" and don't want changes.
