Random thoughts...

Dehumidifier? What does that do? I have just been spraying a mix of water, peppermint oil and soap in entry ways and such. While it doesnt stop them from getting in it prevents them from entering through the main entryways making it harder

I used Tom's of Maine brand peppermint toothpaste mixed with hot kettle water. It worked with mice, but maybe some spiders. I even put cotton balls with same toothpaste in my mailbox and no more ants crawled in it. One of my cousins even planted peppermint and eucalyptus plants around her porch to repel mosquitoes.

I started using the peppermint mixture about 3 years ago due to them wanting to make their home right in my door way. Spray it and it will stay a while keeping them away but it isnt an end all be all

@hell_hound7 it sucks the moisture out of the air. Spiders and other bugs like humid environments so less moisture in the air discourages them.
