@kai that actually sounds like islander talk. Most of my family is from the US virgin islands and when they are saying they have a "friend" hey just say "i have a ling ting" ling being little. Dutty just being dirty but in islander slang

Bruh how you gonna say islander and talk about the US that's literally ISLANDER talk from the Caribbean Isles like Trini Barbados Jamaica etc Which is where almost all UK slang comes from

some amazing geordie slang: yes - 'why aye' something unfair happens - 'howay' fight - 'pagga' boyfriend/girlfriend - 'lad/lass' stolen - 'nicked'

Nicked means stolen here too except when you're the one getting nicked, it means arrested Lad & Lass doesn't mean bf or gf even where you're from it just means boy/girl so if they say "That your lass?" "Aye" They're just saying the same as anywhere else would say "That your girl?"

Uh i've lived in Newcastle my whole life and everyone says lad/lass as boyfriend/girlfriend 乁₍ッ₎ㄏ and yeh I kinda just came to the realisation nicked means stolen/arrested everywhere woops

If you have to get a limb amputated, what do they do with it? And can you ask to keep it afterwards? Had this thought earlier, sleepy brain finally reminded me.
