On our first trip to Savannah together, we asked my father-in-law and his girlfriend to watch our cat and dog for us. He loved cats but didn't care for dogs and the girlfriend was okay with dogs but fears and loathes cats so they were kept in the basement. One day he had to go run an errand for work and she was left home alone. My dog Tyson got really upset and started barking non-stop in the basement. The girlfriend went downstairs to check on him, but in the process, my cat (who tends to be completely uninterested in anything in the world and avoids most people) came out of hiding and started following her. We were about to walk behind the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist to the Yellow fever mass grave historical site when she called me having a full-blown panic attack because my cat was staring at her and following her. I had to keep from laughing hysterically while trying to take her seriously but at the same time being so proud of my cat for tormenting a person.
