Don't get me wrong, those are also great ways to bond and I'm a complete sucker for snuggling. I can't get enough of it. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's just because of my level of sex drive or just because the way I feel about things personally but I feel like there's an intense emotional connection during sex and it's not just a physical Pleasures kind of thing for me. Maybe it's because of the way I view sex in general.

yeah the compulsion for sex is, i would say, purely hormonal xD

True but once it actually starts it becomes purely emotional/spiritual for me.

Well I've only had sex once I've loved someone so maybe that's why and my opinion isn't completely valid ^ ^;

I've had two and sometimes sex is just sex, while other times it's a bonding experience. There are feel good hormones that get released during sex and those certainly help with the "spiritual connection" feel. But, really, it lays in how you view your partner. If you take your time and fully explore each other, it's much better, but sometimes you just want a quicky. of course, I do have ropes and handcuffs for that "bonding" feeling.;)
