Let's Be Honest About Hentai, Guys

I quite enjoy my collection of hentai images (i don't really like videos). A friend and I talk about it pretty on the norm although not in public as it's restricted to being home or in the car. We will still talk of it around other friends who aren't bothered by it though. In the end I see hentai as a form of art, and have a tiny hobby of collecting several different genres of hentai, and organizing them neatly so as to always be able to find what I'm thinking of. I'm not ashamed of it, but I do become ever the slightest bit nervous talking of the subject to new people, so this is a step for me.

I find most Hentai to be shit. Don't watch it and not interested in watching it. But that's how I feel about porn in general. I prefer the actual thing.

This is going to sound pretty hypocritical of me (at least to those who know me) but I'm not a fan of hentai at all. I have three sisters and watching imouto/oneesan hentai/anime with romance in them just really kills my unbiased perspective on it. I lost a bet once and had to watch a netorare hentai from end to beginning and let's just say I was emotionally invested in it (it was Kedamono tachi if any of you are interested in giving it a try). I usually never get angry at anime and that was the first time ever. I also hate rape and mindbreaking hentai and some of it is just way too much and I'm not gonna lie, I've read yaoi. To give a perspective, I've read most of Love Prism and some of the rape hentai are just way too much. In short, I hate it because Lolicon/Shotacon Rape Mind break Netorare Imouto/Onee/Onii/Ototo fetishes Mom/Father fetishes

xy, most prefer the actual thing but I wouldn't bother with porn if I could have all the sex I wanted... I actually don't in healthy sexual relationships. Unless she wants to. But it's rare to find a girl that can match my sex drive.

Oh~ Hentai. I want to share my opinion, too. So, personally I'm just too curious for my own good and I've seen quite a few. And I think 90% of them are ..well, terrible - the animation is catastrophic (don't let me start on the censorship) -so it's like 6 frames repeating per sex-scene like a GIF, yay- the characters are dull and simply not like-able etc. So the remaining 10% have a much better animation and a bigger variety of different characters (so you can enjoy your type) - BUT those with better quality are mostly(? my opinion) rape-y AF. (I don't want to get into detail if rape and abuse in fictional work is okay or not, because I really don't have a clue) Soo back to basic hentai: Why not if the quality is great and the chars are hot?? I personally prefer Hentai-Manga - some are a little more..unique and story-based - although I surprisingly don't check them out often. ...~alright, haven't I reached my writing-limit yet? haha -Yellow

Hentai just gets a bad rap because rape is such a common theme. Not all are like that. Look up Hanabira for example. It's the most sickeningly sweet vanilla and cute hentai ever. If anyone is interested in specific sub genres of hentai, I can probably find it for you.

Hentai is a weird; it's both niche and oversaturated, like anime but at more of an extreme. The only way hentai creators can guarantee on making a buck is to appeal to the niche crowds within a niche industry.; which means making something different to standard; because standard is boring; which is why we get things like:- - Rape - Loli - Torture - Futanari - Tentacles - tons more disturbing genres I won't go into. It's really just a case of supply and demand. In my opinion Hentai is seen as terrible because of more than 80% (I dunno really just estimating) of hentai has fucking horrendous god awful art and animation with a half baked script; I suppose to find anything good you've got to delve deeper. As me, I never kiss and tell, mostly my opinion was formed from the Henrai reviewer "Easycoresleazywhore aka Perverted Pete" whose channel is dead now unfourantely, it was pretty damn funny. Speaking of which some people watch hentai for the lols rather than for self depravement. Just my two shillings

Im a long time perv and i can say ive never hid my interest in the subject to anyone new or old that i know. Im in to some freaky stuff so people by default label me a perv. I wear it as a badge of honor and you all should too.

Damn perverts... But seriously, you do what you want and the rest of us will do what we want. It's not even just about hentai, it's also anime in general and video games that get a bad rap from 'normal' and 'cool' people. I learned by the time I left in high school, to stop caring about what others think of you and what you enjoy. So I'm just going to keep enjoying my weeb hobbies because I like them.

Anime has ruined me more than hentai. Anime girls are so beautiful, real girls seem so bland to me now. I haven't met any real girls in a long time that really wowed me.
