I agree with you. I'd call what you described a crush. Love might grow from a crush. But it's much more. It's actually a pretty big thing for me, too.

I'd really want to explain my full view/opinion on this matter, but I don't want to do it in such an open place as a thread. Even though I'm not shy at all, I just dislike talking in groups, I prefer talking to just one or two people, I can explain myself better in a private chat

I don't think I have really have felt true love. I have been alone romatically for many years, I have been looking for some to love and for some one to love me. but no luck yet. To some degree when I see happy in love people in real life or anime/tv it depresses me but I somehow muddle my way through. In general I think the concept of love is very appealing but you have to find the right person. For example someone who shares interests with you and loves to spend time with you, then I think from there thats where love grows, I dont think there is love at first sight or true love.

The only people I have told "I love you" to are my family and closest friends. I don't like how many people can say it without actually meaning it. There's a huge difference between being in love and loving. The first is usually nothing more than a hormonal reaction. The second is something that needs a long time to grow in my experience. Or a bond by blood.

I don't think a blood bond automatically means love. I agree with the idea of love taking time and you really should not rush into it. But I have family members that I do not love and have no trouble saying that. And if I have someone that I've known for years, talk to constantly, and share a strong bond with then I don't see why bloodline should automatically supersede that. Blood can only run so thick. With that said, the person I love most are generally loving family members.
