Does height matter?

Being that i'm also on the verticaly challenged side (5'3) height matters to me. I wouldn't want to date a much taller girl but i also wouldn't want to date a very short girl.

I made a thread on a topic like this before. If I really like a girl, I wouldn't mind dating someone is around 5'0 since I'm 5'8 myself. Not exactly super tall for a guy. What I've never been able to wrap my head around are some girls out there who are in the 5'3 to 5'7 range and won't even consider dating a guy who is under 5'10. The guy could be successful, in good shape, socially out-going etc. Basically everything they'd be looking for in a potential guy, but the fact he's only 5'7-5'8 is almost an automatic turn-off for them. I mean, if you're a girl who is like 5'11 to 6'2, I could definitely understand you not wanting to date a guy 3+ inches shorter than you. I get the whole natural selection and instinctual part of things where a taller guy = more protective, etc. But if you're a girl around 5'5 and one of your pre-requisites is the guy has to be 5+ inches taller than you to be dateable, I think you're seriously missing out on a lot of guys who are around the same height or maybe a couple inches taller who'd be really great guys to be in a relationship with.

I'm 6'1" so I don't meet too many girls taller than I am. I do prefer shorter girls, but if I liked them enough then height would mean nothing.

Okay, time for me to say my very stupid and perverted reason to why I can't deal with a short girl unless I just really like her. First off, I'm 6 feet even. And I prefer girls around or equal to my height. Taller is kinda pushing it because I don't want death by snu-snu. I just... don't want that. Now to why I can't deal with short girls. It's their breasts. When I look down at a girl way shorter than me, I can easily see her breasts along with her face at the same time. No one can tell I'm looking at her breasts mostly because I have to look down at her normally. I don't like that because it's too easy and I don't want to take advantage of that. It's more of a challenge when trying to look at a girl that's equal in height. Because of that challenge I spend more time looking at her face and body as a whole. Learning her body language slowly which actually helps me get to know her better. That and I'm more of a leg man anyway. A nice pair of legs are great. Short are cute but long are sexy. Though both can have a mix of both along with being beautiful depending on the person's legs. XD

I come from a family of giants. My father is 6'1, my younger brother is 6'3, and I come in at a whopping...5'9. I don't mind height as long as she's not above 6 foot. I really. Would feel immasculated then. Men's egos are very fragile, apparently.

I'm about 6ft3. A potential match being 5ft isn't preferred but it isn't a deal breaker by any means. It really bothers me when girls dismiss shorter guys, but at the same time that's a bit hypocritical of me, because I do actually find tall girls more attractive. It turns me on and I'm not sure why. A potential match being taller than me would not be an issue at all.

I think I'm 5'11 No preference :P
