@sanf It's a hard argument with figuring out is the feeling of enjoying helping others really because you like to help others or if it's because it makes you feel better about yourself.

@Kid With me it's even worse. I don't feel especially good about myself when I help people. I just feel like crap when I didn't help somebody I could have helped -_-

@sanfi In a weird way I think that actually says more good about you then anything else. I can be the same way . I won't go ahead and say that I like that all the time but I think feeling bad for not having help someone when you could have is more of a sign that you actually want help them and not just because psychological urge or something to feel better about yourself but because you actually want to help them for this reason of helping someone who could use help.

Lmao XD I'm using the voice text on my phone and I didn't realize it said that until after I posted it I was just hoping I can fix it before you read it though I really didn't expect that I would succeed lol.

Well it's something I thought about before myself. Even more so when I saw just show about how some time back in history someone was doing a study on something doing with evolutionary traits and what not and a touch up on the idea that selflessness was possibly more an instinct to preserve the species rather than just to be nice to other people. They even went so far as to give the idea that to try and support this Theory showing her parents would protect their young to continue the species and what not. This video is more convincing than what I just said because I realize it sounds silly but I just said and common sense that parents would protect their young.

@sanfi Yeah, not to sound narcissistic or self-centered in any way but sometimes all the possible intricacies and whatnot of the human mind and the human instincts, the known and the unknown, are rather surprising and amazing.
