Where to find single people?

That is my issue, lol I want a relationship but with someone who likes me because they like me or because they have a genuine interest, not because I "acted cool at one point to attract them..." because then said attractees just expect to be entertained... & it is like I am looking for love, not someone who wants me to do flips for them & jump through fire hoops just to get them to like me as a person & actually want to be with me for that trait for being a good person. Plus Coffee shops, book stores and nice bars aren't my thing, I am not really a coffee person & I read to read in a book store not to pick up women lol... & as far as a nice bar goes... I do not like alcohol... I will turn them off or send red flags because who goes to a bar & buys others drinks & just watch other people enjoy themselves... that would be creepy to me, so I wouldn't do it myself! xD okcupid seems just that ok... subtly just, Hi I'm a weirdo, (really is weird, not making fun) looking for other weirdos into anime. Most issues are people are just to judgmental or they have so low esteem they just do not bother with people if they think they are "too attractive" or do not match just right with their mental image is as far as what is a perfect person for them as well. It makes me want to give up really & just stay single because there is also a certain personality traits needed & charisma. I know I naturally have to from being singed to too being told I am attractive to having creep old dudes stare at me... (thinking to myself eeww dude.. I am a guy & why are you trying to pick up guys in jack in the box...) But I am not ok with that trait because it just seems manipulative & it seems that it is just been a normal thing to do for so long that if your not manipulative at all you get sideways glares like your trying to be better then everyone or that something is wrong with you for not wanting to compel others into your pants but to just want a loving relationship... lol it is very confusing...

I don't feel like I contributed enough to the actual question at hand so I think it is about the type of single person your looking for? example, you want a potential relationship & date, I would recommend Zoosk. But even Zoosk has it issues, If you have a nice picture & bio & flip through potential dates is the fastest way to go, then actually talk to them & see if they like you as a person. Granted I never even did that much because I couldn't find people like us... xD it is cool tho seeing a girl check out your profile every day but then when a month passes & you do not get a reply it is like hmm wtf? I have done a ton of dating sites, even the adult ones lol they where just confused it seemed, because I was looking for a relationship where people genuinely try to not have one (because they are after sex only =P) at all but I got allot of replies none the less granted nothing ever happened because people are scaredy cats when they do find someone they think will be right for them... sign... then self sabotage kicks in to full throttle. xD perfect example is like what the other guy said about misfit toys those personality types usually can either be extremely nice or vise versa & turn out to be good friends but since they view themselves as broken they usually do not want to be with someone they view as not broken because for some odd reason they have this weird idea that they will hurt you or that they are not worth being happy...

@Kiosu Most of what you said is really understandable for a lot of us, probably. Also, you did indeed contribute a lot. Even if some wasn't about the question at hand, I was interested in reading what you had to say. I've never heard about Zoosk, so I'll be sure to look it up. Funny thing is, yesterday my best friend said he wanted to go on a dubble date with me. I told him that although he has a gf, there's still something missing: the person I should date with. He told me he can make it a blind-double-date. Somebody who both his gf and him know and think might like me. That's rather promising, because if the person they find thinks my best friend is cool, they'll probably like me as well. We're very similar and have the exact same kind of humor ^^
