Different opinions doesn't make someone shitty or anything of the sort....

So glad you guys came along. I do agree with pretty much everything all of you said, about differing world views, and being civilized. I know trolls try to use this to justify their faggotry, but the difference between disagreeing and insults are these different opinion: Person A says: Hey I think pepperoni pizza is the best. Person B says: I prefer cheese pizza. Insults: person A says: I think Pokemon is awesome. Person B responds by saying: you like that kiddy game? Ha ha you're a loser. However it seems ppl cannot differentiate between the two. I'm not saying that someone can state an opinion and not expect opposition. For instance veganism vs meat eating. You can say hey I enjoy eating meat, a vegan may challenge your statement by saying: hey you do realize millions of animals are slaughtered and treated poorly just for you to eat meat right? The meat eater could say: I'm aware of that, but TBH I don't really care. The vegan may try and tell them it's wrong, but the meat eater could bring up freedom of choice and the fact that us eating meat helped us evolve to where we are today and the debate goes on. There are good points on both ends, but at the end of the day it's one's personal belief in matters such as these. While in other cases, like murder,rape, pedophilia most ppl would agree on that, however if someone disagrees with the majority of opinions on stuff such as those, they'll likely face repercussions, it's the person's right and freedom of speech to disagree, HOWEVER freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom of consequence. So yeah it's just something I was thinking about more after making this topic, that's why I haven't posted in it again until now. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. If anyone else has anything to say you're free to say it. I'll be around a bit longer so yeah expect to see me again.

My thing is this: This is a site where you're revealing things about yourself, but when you want to tell people "Hey, I like things that almost nobody here likes and I just want you all to know that." Then people respond and it becomes a shitfest. You're kind of asking for it that kind of attention, and in my opinion if you're doing that it is well deserved... If you can't take it don't start it. In society we have to think about things we say and understand the consequences. If you say things that offend people and they react in a way you don't like, learn from it I guess, or don't honestly I could care less.
