@Vezeal Comparing Mani to someone that I consider a beautiful woman, who just so happens to be my ex is rude? What is the rude part? Even if I'm comparing her to my ex, it's a physical comparison and my ex is a beautiful woman, so it was meant as a compliment and I don't understand why people consider this to be rude and insulting. If I'd have said "You look like one of my friends who is really beautiful" we would not be having this conversation, so why should the fact that it's my ex have any influence on the statement?

Plus if you look at it objectivly, with that many people on the planet ( and good portion who had relationships ), almost everyone on earth looks like someone else's ex, even from another country or whatever. And like he said, he's only talking about her looks, so how is that a bad thing that he compares her to someone he found attractive enough to date ? That's more like a compliment imo. Her being his ex is just a context, nothing more.

@sanfi Considering the person you were saying that to took offense to it clearly means that it is rude. You might not see how offensive that is since you were comparing her with an attrative woman. But the fact of the matter is that Manami did take offense against it. Just because you don't agree with something, doesn't mean that it's okay to do it. In short, you insulted her. That was rude.
