Oh yah I went just over 3 miles ranging from 2.5 to 3.5 mph over the course of just over an hour. A casual cardio burn.

I had started, I do not really enjoy cardio in this fashion... rather dance or play a video game that has me focus my mind elsewhere, so I can get lost in it. I eventually stopped and would just focus on stretches/yoga outside.... but I realized that without my commutes, I was probably really losing stamina and that laundrymat and supermarket runs weren't going to cut it, so I decided to have at it again today... I actually improved from before, so maybe the yoga helped, but yeah I want to strengthen my knees more.

What I would recommend is try to sync you're speed and steps with the beat of the music, that will get you occupied on something instead of thinking "when is this over."

I see people working on their summer bodies already. Makes me want to start running again and maybe a few sit ups and core exercises while im at it.

I suggest occupying your mind with your favorite songs. singing along to a song while you run can help get your mind off and as soon as you know it runners high kicks in and you wont worry about it anymore
