Asian Men vs. Whte Men

I think that upbringing is the real factor rather than race. I grew up in a fairly old fashioned home and I was brought up to be very polite; especially to women, guests, and my elders. The first time I ventured out of the south I was shocked by all of the 'little things" regarding being courteous that the people around me just didn't care about or bother with. I've always been a fan of Japanese culture in part because their traditional values and the ones I was raised with are very similar. If you're more attracted to asian men then go for it! You can find proper values and "put together" men of any race though.

@kyetge! I'm freaking a little bit of everything mexican and white are just the 2 main ones that I associate my self with but really I'm a mut. T_T I think the fact that we are all huge fans of Japanese culture here means that we all sort of have a thing for Asians witch I have no problem with other then that I am not Asian and there for have trouble attracting those of the Asian race. Mixes are usually the best though if you find Asian mixed with another ethnicity usually the product ends up very attractive to me at least :P.

upbringing is an important factor, but i also believe its also the culture. i learned in my writing composition class that if you were to play musical chairs with every minority in the world, the asians would lose because they were taught to give the person their chair instead of sitting in it themselves. of course this does not apply to all asians, most of them probably

I am put together very well, and I am always reminded by others how polite of a guy I am. Unfortunately I am not Asian, and due to being a white man, I am afraid that we can never be.

OH this topic hahaha. I wont lie I find Asians very attractive, since well I listen to so much kpop and watch so many dramas it was bound to happen, haha mostly fangirling though. I never dated one though, and that's I guess where I linger? Since I have dated a white male, who was well put together and was raised to respect women in the let me hold the door open for you way. He was a bit of a douche sometimes though, but he did like anime. I also dated a Hispanic, and we clicked obviously because of our family values, but I never was able to engage in conversation about anime with him. In the end upbringing is a major factor, you don't see many chivalrous guys these days, from what I have seen around me, which is sad. I know the guys above are probably sweethearts so there is hope xD. Yet for this topic that's where culture comes in where Asian guys are raised to be respectful most of the time. I have seen many articles in some magazines and even some people around me say it would be nice since their culture gives them that allure. In the end I am a purebred Hispanic and I'm still quite open to everything since like everyone has their own charming points :D yet I still love YongHwa from CNBLUE with everything I have *_* /fangirl/

I must admit in my area though it all depends on the person I have seen plenty of douche Asian guys and girls just as many as any other race in my area. They are usually what we call fresh kids who listen to a lot of pop music and some mainstream hip hop and go to clubs usually 20 and under clubs as they are all young. They basically live off their parents money and don't need their own jobs and kind of act stuck up and douchey but same goes for any other race around here but it's for diffrent reasons in every case.

And don't gt me wrong here people, I have my encounters with plenty of nice white males, I'm not that biast XD. Just going from what I have observed. It doesn't mean I am only to Asian men. As long as I find a guy that ispolite, respectable, loving, and likes to have a good time then that's all that matters to me.
