Why do we censor female nipples?

Why is the penis more offensive than a vagina? Plenty of movies will show a naked girl but very few will show a guys penis and never an erect penis unless it's porn. The nipple thing is stupid. Nudity wouldn't be a big deal if it was legal to be naked anytime. If girls always had to wear nose bras then there would be Girl's Gone Wild sexiest noses edition.

Yeah but some women just have little perky tits and don't need bras but wear them anyway because: 1. Sometimes the friction of a bare shirt on nipples might be irtitating but mostly because: 2. A girls nipples poking through their shirt is "socially unacceptable" in most situation and will get them rude comments or unwanted attention. (I personally love it.) 3. Also considered a right of passage for a young girl to wear her first bra. 4. Padded bras can help compensate for presumed self deficiencies. (I happen to also like small breasts though.

True, true. *nods in agreement* ^.^ Also, I think some people wear bra for style and fashion. :D I wear to a bra, because I am top heavy and I think bras are stylish. ^w^

It's a double standard but it doesn't bother me. In public, for instance, I prefer things censored because walking around a bunch of guys with boners is disgusting. Just as when women who breast feed make a fuss over being able to do it out in the open, more power to them but do it once in a room full of high school boys and they probably wouldn't be so tenacious. ^_^

I'm surprised more girls (who aren't too top heavy) don't wear sports bras more often, they look more comfortable. My ex is a G cup and she always wears a bra if she goes out but not at home because the weight pulling on her shoulders hurts her and she has lots of back problems. She's been trying to get a reduction forever but needs insurance to cover it but they keep coming up with excuses not to.
