Anyone heard of the new game black desert? Its an MMO that is supposedly going to be released to the US here soon. I'm thinking of giving it a try. Just wanted some opinions or thoughts on the game for those who are familiar.

playing it on NA, so far I love it, it's more of a explore and learn kind of MMO, instead of just instanced dungeons and all that, like seriously, I was randomly exploring searching for a horse to tame, and I ended up in the mountains, I saw an opening, "What is this?" I thought, as I enter it, I found a little oasis, literally, a cave that lead to a small place with a very small water pond. Can't wait to explore more of it! Last I looked it was the prettiest MMO I could find, Koreans have great aesthetics. I need a better computer to play it.

It does look excellent both in terms of graphics and smooth gameplay. And Axnon, Is it all just exploration or is there a story line to it as well?

I have a $400 laptop that can barely play Skyrim if I turn off all the eye candy, lol

It has a story line, It focuses heavily on the player and the 'black spirit', and the 'story' forms around you, as you look for quests, decide if you wanna take them or not,you get knowledge and you actually learn about the characters of the world. Heck, you can just grind the whole game and not know shit, or just read everything and understand everything, I'm just slowly playing through it, most lore anyways just flies by me because I'm a dum-dum, but I just enjoy playing the game, maybe cooking a bit, eating some food for buffs, training my horse to level it up and all that stuff. also as for computer, i'm on a 2009 laptop, LAPTOP, it has a i5-460m 2.53Ghz, and a ATI Mobility 5470 with 512MB, that's 512MB of vram!, with 4gb ram, I mean, it's crappy, but it runs!, aslong as you have a desktop that's equivalent in matching desktop components to my laptop, or you have a laptop from around ... let's say 2013? It should run fine

Yeah, but with those pretty graphics I want all the eye candy and 4k. Otherwise it's like driving a Lamborghini and never going over 55mph.
