Friendship?

Yes, in fact I have many online friends who are just as close and personal as my closest real life friends. Most of them are on Gaiaonline, with a few budding friendships here as well. ...I just realized, for a near social recluse, I have a large network of friends in both worlds. <.<

Well, I think I'm forever alone due to my abysmal luck, so I'm doomed either way

It surely is :P Not on here but I do have some friends who I've known for over 7 years and hung out with in person multiple times who I originally met online. But it really depends on the person. Some people ya love, some people ya don't.

Of course it is. I feel like it's actually easier to be yourself online so you actually are more likely to find friends who like you for you online.. But I do have to admit that I value my offline friendships more than most of my online friendships.

I value friendship in general. I have some online friends that I'm just as close to as my friends in real life. But I do agree, its easier to be yourself online. Or at least for me it is. I can't really say why, cause my brain isn't entirely functioning at the moment. But definitely agree there e.e

Xynox I find your comment kinda funny. I get what you mean but it is funny that online people are getting the more genuine unfiltered version of you and accepting it yet it's the people who are more likely to see you wearing a mask that you value time with.

You got that wrong.. Though it's understandable since I didn't elaborate. I have 3 people offline that I actually count as close friends. I've known all of them for over a decade and they know me a lot better than anyone.. Offline or online. I think that it's easier to make genuine friends online and I definitely value those more that acquaintances I make offline, however, those 3 friends.. I value more than anyone online. I hope that makes more sense now. :)

I must agree with Xynox and Lugexd there. For me it's that I act kinda distant and cold in real life, except from when I'm around my friends. On the internets I don't feel like I need to act that distant. I'm much more easy-going.

It does I suppose =P
