Thoughts on extreme atheism...

As long as you aren't an ass about it and try to shove it down my throat, I couldn't give a damn what you believe in. And I'd be sure to reciprocate that respect.

I don't like dickheads, Christian, Atheist, or otherwise, and there are plenty out there from every race, religion, sexuality, whatever. I came from a small town full of kind Christians who became less tolerant of you the more you expressed your desire to believe something else, so I've mostly bunkered myself down with other like-minded atheists/agnostics. In doing so, I've found more than a few that were not a lot better than the Christians from my hometown, even if I agreed with their overall world-views. After moving to the city, I've met a few people who are Islamic; these people weren't nearly as dogmatic as the media would have you believe tldr, you really can't judge someone by their outward traits or what they believe, even if you've had bad experiences. There's always someone out there that will prove your preconceptions wrong.

Extreme anything is almost never good. That's why I pretty much have nothing to do with atheists despite being one myself. A lot of them tend to be toxic self rightious asshats and do nothing but give their fellows a bad name. Exactly like religious zealots.
