Group Trip to Japan 2017

meisterman1985
I wish I could join in, but permission from my family must be asked first. I live near Chattanooga, Tennessee. Where the first bottle of Coca-Cola was filled at. My most wanted place to visit in Japan is Akihabara, especially with my Fujitsu FM TOWNS computer to get it properly repaired and running again.

I'll definitely consider this. I went to Japan back in 2009 but I was only there for a week, it just simply wasn't enough time. Going back has always sort of been on the back of my mind.

This sounds interesting, but am i the only on that lives like a homeless person? $3k is too much for me. I could probably do it with only 1-1.5. Ive gone on long camping trips(no electricity or camper) and hiking trips. Trust me when i say ive eaten insects and out of garbage cans.

Money is always the problem for me, Japan is an expensive place to live espeically if your staying at like the centeral places like tokyo.. For a trip there for even a week you have to expect to fork out at least 2000..I mean for rent or place to stay and food and trip back yeah.. I'd LOVE TO GO, It's just money is always a problem and I live in poverty kinda the low end where we barely have enough for the month's rent and all the bills and stuff..so Yeah..I'm always envious of people who can afford these things..-Sad face- Lucky peeeople...~

Hey guys, I'm sorry for the late reply. I haven't had internet for quite a while. Just got it back a few days ago. I ready all of you guys replies. Yeah it is expensive and I won't deny that it is difficult to do. It just so happens that I have a decent paying job and had no bills at the time. I do have bills now although they are still probably lower than everyone else's. The bigger the airport, the more the inconveniences, thus the cheaper the price. Fall/Autumn is Japan's off season travel periods. However tickets should be bought 2-3 months prior. Of course things change each year so it's always hard to pinpoint the exact date. For example, I looked right now and ticket prices are almost $1,000 when they were only a little over half that price last year. You just have to continually check throughout the year. I thought about this group thing after my euphoria from my trip to Japan. In reality group traveling is very impractical which is what I was trying to do when I went the first time but it worked out better for me to go by myself. Group traveling has too many individual obstacles such as saving the money, getting around bills, getting enough time off of work, etc. In reality, depending on what you do, you can get away with only having $1.5k-$2k to make the trip. As I said before, I had a lot of money left over that I had to try to get rid of.
