Cars already were steampunk they had the cumbustion under the seats was cool but gas was stronger per design flaws
It could work off many engine designs for stean punk i like a modification off the combustion engine

The article raises a valid point. We are kinduva steampunk society. Most all our power is steam generated. I think I'll call my city, Steam City.

Yup all power besides solar that take energy from any thermo process is steam ( there are exceptions but this is a solid premise)
