Why did you join MaiOtaku?

To find friends with similar interest because the anime fever is still not there in India. I don't need people who tell me Pokémon is for kids, Grow up -.-

I was searching up "anime with online friends (concept/premise of it)" on Google and instead of finding an anime like that, I found this site XD I immediately joined to see where I end up. I'm not only here to make friends, but to learn and meet other people. And see if our companionship will evolve over time. It's just a fun experiment for me considering the other dating sites I was a part of never actually helped me. This site is a lot more successful to me than "OkCupid" or other generic dating sites. Though I consider this my first time actually using a dating site because I'm actually meeting and talking with people :) We all have something in common and that makes everything more convenient :D

Why did I join? I really love anime and not to many of the people that I know are into it so I need people to talk to about it lol. I'd like to make some new friends, maybe find that special someone :)

First came here to see if I could find someone that would want to date. Now I'm here to see if I can make some friends (close to home and far away) that share similar interests.

I was looking for an anime website, Mai otaku just happened to be there so i clicked on it, I used to be mod in an anime/manga community online a few years back, It was pretty nice back then, i made some awesome friends there, so i thought i would join this one, and make mew friends hopefully. cx

Was looking for a place to hang out at while i'm stuck in this empty town, bored, lonely T_T So i guess i want friends i can feel like i belong with, and then i am eagerly looking for a girlfriend of sorts, so it's more on the relationship side for me, hopefully it'll light up my world a bit. Kinda dark at the moment. Just saying... Kinda hard for us my age to get anywhere when it comes to relationships on websites like these, but i'm still keeping an eye out, i'll pursue this dream!

Haven't had social interaction in months since I started up a bunch of things, and never really had people to talk to about anime, so I managed to find this. Pretty sure most people gave up looking for a relationship (so have I), but if it happens then it's an added bonus.
