Perhaps some anime shown on Nickelodeon in the late 80s, like The Little Bits, The Noozles, The Adventures of the Little Koala, and on USA Network, Little Prince.

I was around 5 years old when my cousin introduced me to Dragon Ball: Curse of the Blood Rubies movie. Been watching anime since then.
