5 anime you think more people should watch!

jacktechno
@gurren921 I didn't watch all of Spice & Wolf simply because it was sooo boring. Do they do anything other than buy and sell stuff? Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance.

I put IIWTTTPUGIAD? on my Top Favorites list, but not this one, just because I don't really consider as unknown as the other 5 I put. It would probably be my #6 on this list, though. It's definitely an awesome show for MMO & fantasy lovers.

Hen Zemi -Plot Matsutaka is an innocent university student who is participating in a sexual perversion seminar led by the deviant professor Kenji Meshiya. She desperately tries to keep her morals as well as her sanity while amidst the strange group of students in the study group. -what I thought I loved this anime, the art is simple and cute, and I love how silly and weird it is. It's not an anime that you should watch in public, there are quite a bit of lewd scenes (even more so in the OVA) but there wasn't a dull moment in it. It's not serious in any way, more just a gag anime. If you like a lot of sexual humor then this anime is for you. http://www.gogoanime.com/images/abnormal-physiology-seminar.jpg http://38.media.tumblr.com/7a7e6501c0c0e5a71c26f4cffbb0a93a/tumblr_inline_mkqs52a42T1qz4rgp.gif 2.) Paranoia Agent -Plot A grinning boy travels around Tokyo on golden rollerblades. He has a bent, golden baseball bat — and he uses it to whack people in the head. -What I thought Once again great art style, this time with a more realistic flare. The story is really great. It's thrilling and sometimes just awfully sad. It was interesting watching all the different stories play out and how they linked together. http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/8d22aa6e6b22316793e205daf8e2235a.png http://38.media.tumblr.com/a335eebeb3427406599aa4497945a357/tumblr_inline_mkqs2maXrz1qz4rgp.gif 3.) Eureka Seven -Plot Renton Thurston is a 14-year-old boy who lived with his mechanic grandfather in a backwater town. Every day he dreamed of being with the mercenary "Light Finding Operation (LFO)" aircraft pilot group "Gekkostate" and riding "Trapar" particle waves—a sport called "reffing"—with their charismatic leader Holland, especially when faced with his father's acclaimed past or his grandfather's desire to protect him. When a young girl named Eureka riding the original LFO, the "Nirvash typeZERO," asks his grandfather for a tune-up, she inadvertently brings the attention of the military to the garage; as a result, the garage is destroyed and Renton is forced to deliver a new type of interface—the "Amita Drive"—to the Nirvash. After a heated fight in which the Nirvash destroys the military LFOs by unleashing an immense amount of power, Renton is invited into Gekkostate. However, he quickly realizes that behind the facade of a traveling group of mercenaries is a very bitter reality. -What I thought This one is by far one of my favorite animes. The whole story was just great, characters and their development, great. Art style is beautiful to boot. http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/eurekaseven/images/9/96/E7-por.jpg ¤These last two are actually mangas since I couldn't figure out any more animes that I think need more love. http://31.media.tumblr.com/b81c7dadf0e20919a038a85c933062a6/tumblr_inline_mkqs46qVU21qz4rgp.gif 4.) Oyasumi Punpun -Plot Take a poorly-drawn cartoon bird who never speaks, a broken family, an afro-clad 'god', mentally troubled children, outright insane adults, a large dose of surrealism as well as realism, and a soul-crushing amount of cynicism and you have Oyasumi Punpun. ("Goodnight, Punpun") is a supremely bizarre Seinen manga by Inio Asano about the title character, Punpun. Punpun is a young, innocent, and naive child, who, in some kind of strange stylistic choice, is depicted as a simplistic sketch of a bird despite everyone outside of his family looking like a normal human. He has no real dreams, his father is an abusive deadbeat (at least, he appears to be), and his mother is a drunk who regrets having him, but Punpun has one thing: a pretty girl named Aiko whom he fawns over. Well, her, and an afro'd and slightly useless god he can summon by chanting 'Dear God, dear God, tinkle-tinkle hoy -What I thought Favorite manga hands down. And that's saying something since I've been reading manga since I was a small child. Just a absolutely beautiful manga. The art the story. Everything was perfect and just soul crushing. I recommend this manga to everyone who loves a realistic down to earth relatable manga. http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/punpun/images/9/9a/Group_c12p6.PNG http://38.media.tumblr.com/4f912be812291c10fd0df73d15ae3d84/tumblr_inline_mkqs2xIuZI1qz4rgp.gif 5.) Watashi-tachi no Shiawase na Jikan aka Our Happy Time -Plot A woman learns a lesson about hope and faith from a man who has little of either to spare in this inspirational drama from South Korea. Yu-jeong teaches at a college, but she finds little satisfaction in her career. After falling into a deep depression and losing her belief in God, Yu-jeong attempts suicide. While Yu-jeong survives, her actions drive a wedge between her and her family, who are committed Christians and believe suicide is a mortal sin. Yu-jeong turns to her aunt, Sister Monica, for guidance; Sister Monica is a nun who does volunteer work at a prison. There Yu-jeong meets Yun-su, a convict sentenced to death who like her has come to question the existence of God. As the two get to know one another, they become friends, and as they learn to bring hope back into their lives, they find themselves reexamining their denial of faith. -what I thought I cried like a baby at the end of this manga. It's so wonderfully done. The story is very powerful and heart breaking. A manga worth reading. http://s2.mangareader.net/cover/watashitachi-no-shiawase-na-jikan/watashitachi-no-shiawase-na-jikan-l0.jpg So that's my list!

Hmm. I'll just list one. Silver Spoon (Gin no Saji). It's such a good-natured show. Characters are pretty nicely developed too.

I read a lot of the Silver Spoon manga awhile back. Good-natured is a good word for it lol. It was interesting and really nice. Very casual. Not sure how well the anime comes off, I'm not sure I'd like it as much as the manga, if only just because it's not really a "motion" series. But it was good!
jacktechno
I saw a few episodes of Silver Spoon. It didn't seem like it was headed in any kind of direction, except for maybe the main guy learning how to take care of animals.
