retail work

Oh god. Retail on Black Friday?! I feel so, so bad for you! Know that you are a brave and kindhearted soul for doing such a thing. *hugs to you*

I love retail during black Friday. So much more interesting. It's like a battlefield. Though it rocks even harder when I have my A-team with me. About 3 or 4 other guys as good as me. Ahh yeah... That's how you stem the nasty hordes. lol

Well that's one to look at it. XD I worked today but I got to just use the internet while today's partner took care of things. (wasn't busy). I took over someone else's shift though and even got an hour off for being kind enough to come in. I was lucky. ^^

they decided it was a perfect time to train me on customer services on thursday night and BOH (back of house) today, when i usually only work in electronics, so it was just frustrating for me when people expect me to already know it for some reason, so i pretty much was set up for failure

Yeah. That's really not easy. My first time was like that too. She said the only way to learn was to go out there and experience it first hand. I floundered like a fish. ^^;;; Also broke my elbow in the process but that's really embarrassing and completely my own fault. I had a ditz moment to put it nicely. ^^;;;

Yuck. Worked retail once in high school, never again. You must have some serious patience. Atta boy, champ.
