Help me start watching anime!!

Yeah sorry the reason I rambled about it is because people where giving me a lot of animes (which is fine) that just involve a lot of tech like mechs and stuff but didn't really hit the themes of cyberpunk which is what I was looking for

Since you like GITS.How about Akira? :) there's Bubblegum crisis and Battle Angel Alita but since their from the early 90's they might be hard to find.Not Akira the other two to clarity You might like Ego Proxy,Psycho-Pass and Serial Lain Experimemts :)

Thanks for the suggestions I'm busy right now with many things going on but as soon as I finish GITS I'm going to try Psycho-pass or the bubblegum series

You may enjoy Ergo Proxy, Serial Experiments Lain, Akira, Blame!, Angel's Egg, Psycho Pass, Metropolis, and Un-Go. If you're interested in reading manga too then I highly recommend reading Blame, Abara, Akira, and pretty much everything by Tsutomu Nihei.

Thanks for the suggestions. This Tsutomu Nihei guy looks ace but the only thing is I made a promise to myself that I have finished my comic book(western now) collection because of time and money so don't know if I would dive into manga, sorta breaking that promise
