Anyone going or went to Japan?

Yes it was my job in the Air Force. I also did television news broadcasting there for a year, but I definitely preferred radio. It was a dream job to be sure.

Chairforce ftw jk but yeah sounds nice. Hopefully I can get out of my comfort zone enough to mingle with the locals.

Haven't been to japan in a good minute now. Last time i was there was helping family move from Naha. and that was about 2 years ago. Next year my sister is suppose to be getting married so we might end up going back.. But not really interested in going.

I'm already making plans to go back in the Fall of 2017. It was so much fun exploring the first time that I went. I think that this time I will try and do things that will make me feel more involved with the people there.

I got stuck at Yokota Airbase for a couple weeks one summer. My family was trying to catch MAC flights back to the US from Korea. Active duty had taken all the priority seating for the hop back State side. Is AFN still around? AFKN was our connection to the US for keeping up with trends back home, pre-net days.
