Ugh I fucking hate Christianity

The problem I have with religion is that by its nature is judgmental. Nearly all religions are "We have the path to salvation, follow us or you will burn in hell for eternity" I think that one of the problems with religion in modern times is that it is unchanging. If you look back in the past eg at Christianity - the Old testament was the starting point and as time passed it has been built upon by the new testament. Now we live in different times again so religion will need to continue to be relevant. But what annoys me more is the debates about religion neither side will accept the other and it just goes on in a circle. If only we had the answer either way then the world would be a different place all together!

@Sub Good point about modern religion being unchanging take the set up of how we buy a home we still mostly follow the rule only two people get married or live together to work to keep a house maybe then we might fill the house with children or animals to care for and might only have other people round for dinners or party or staying over, what my point I trying to says is we still follow the way of a religion as scientist have research were a communicative species that can work more by communicating, in a way this set up gives us less people to interact with and give us more work to look after the/a house. It seems only a rare few change the norm by having a house and filling it with partner and/or maybe a friends then late children. Look at Japan in way you could say there following the change that happens around them by creating robots to help people also many don't marry any more but still find time to interact not saving everyone in Japan.

Religion, in one sense, is a mindless tool used to hurd sheep and gain money and power. This is just the religion in itself. The people on the other hand find faith in this *in hopes* to live better lives. Unfortunatly, many can't seem to not push their religion on others.

Honestly, don't let other Christians tell you any bullshit lol. Christianity in my opinion is using Jesus Christ as a way to cope with life. It's just faith. Religion is all about faith and spirituality and all that other stuff. Don't let anyone push their beliefs on you either(even though you stopped), you either believe in God/Jesus or you just don't, either way he will still love you.

Hateful people come in every color and religion, I think some religions have over a billion people. Is it not a little silly to generalize? The problem is not religion, it's people that are full of hatred for others. Think about it. I am not sticking up for religion or anything, just saying.

Religion can IMPROVE lives.

| Religion can IMPROVE lives. No. Just not true. Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, he'll eat for a lifetime. Give a man a religion, he'll starve to death praying for the fish. And yes, both Christianity and Islam have over a billion people - at the end of the day, though, they are still evil religions. Read the holy books, and take in everything and maybe, just maybe you'll understand.

Have you heard of the golden rule? It had been scientifically proven that living positivity and/our helping others as a matter of course can have positive physical and emotional effects. Living such a life is part of some religions.

I don't like the people who try to force their religion on others, but it doesn't mean I hate them all. What really annoys me more than that is the kids who are raised to be christian. I was raised in a pretty chill family, where we learned stuff about christianity, but we were never forced to go to church or anything. Because of this, I spent a long time trying to find the right religion... for me. Not because some God will smite me if I don't believe in them, but searching for a belief that will make me happy. There's nothing wrong with believing if it makes you happy. But.. a lot of the religious people I talk to, say they were raised that way. And it makes me wonder, can you really *believe* if you never had the chance to consider anything else? Shouldn't religion be about how you feel, and not about blindly following 'what you were told'? A lot of people are religious just because it's how they were raised. Not because of how they feel, but because they were told to. and I don't think that's right. People should be able to take the time to choose their own beliefs, just like they should be able to decide their own opinion on any controversial topics.
