Ugh I fucking hate Christianity

Reaper lol... OMG stop. That's unconstitutional and any judge dumb enough to make that decision based on that alone is an idiot. It would be repealed almost instantly. Yeah sometimes in small hillbilly American towns, such as those in the Bible Belt, Atheists are treated differently but in no way is it like a witch hunt.

We're treated like second class citizens whenever possible because of the Christian agenda. And New Mexico is far from a very very conservative state.

I'm not against Christianity verbatim, I just don't, as an atheist who likes both Shinto and Buddhism, and I dislike the faith and the followers who proscribe something so ignorant and stupid.

I have justification based on facts that Christians harass non-Christians and have tried to halt progress - the Middle Ages support this - while the initial conflict wasn't the fault of the RCC, the later years they hampered scientific thinking and killed people like Galileo. An update to that story. http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/custody-dispute-prayer-albuquerque_us_56040bb7e4b00310edfa3678 It's an isolated incident and once this councilers tactics were noticed by someone smart enough to say something, it got shut down. The mother has a lawyer and plans to sue, probably the court and judge that tried to sweep it under the rug. The mother did the right thing. Despite it being against her beliefs or lack there of she completed the sessions to get her children back. It's not necessary and its beaurcratic bullshit but that's just more ammunition in court when she presents her lawsuit. When it starts happening on a regular, week to week basis, then atheists should worry. (Present day US, that won't happen.)
