All Hallows' Eve

I don't necessarily take part as well for religious reasons, but I would enjoy going out and dressing up (I've got no friends...) if the oppurtunity arose. But on a more serious note Veruca, as a kid I loved Halloween because I got to go out with friends, dress up a a ninja or somethin like that and get a whole ton of candy. We used to be out for like 4 hours just loading up on sugar. Ive noticed a huge drop off in people trick or treating nowadays. Maybe a lot of parents are worried now, but when I was a young pup, pretty much every kid in the section was out. Now Halloween is quiet and I don't see many kids around anymore. It's kind of disappointing in my opinion to see not as many kids out anymore.

Lux the religion gets you every time T-T i've never been trick or treating cause my parents wouldnt let me. Now im too old to go around getting candy and i have no friend to go to spooky events with feelsbadman ;-;

It's the same here Lux. It was traffic at standstills when I was a kid and now you're lucky if one house gives candy within 3 blocks. Plus the who candy from strangers thing does play into it. I just wish my town at least did have a huge fall festival to make up for it. Maybe I'll run for mayor and make it happen XD

Haha! My parents were cool and we still went out every year, free candy means they didn't have to buy snacks for 7 kids for a while. So of course theyd let us go out! You'd definitely love my area Veruca - haunted hayrides and ghost houses everywhere, and there a huge empty penitentiary that is haunted that is crazy scary. And then there a nearby town that has tons of festivals, apples and pumpkins and eventually a scare crow festival as well. But as Panda said, I don't know anyone who's doing anything so I will be probably sleeping tonight...
