Truth or Dare

@Anna I don't know if it's really good or anything, but it happened to me and made quite the impression. I was really young (somewhere between six or eight or something) and I kept having these nightmares about some young boy. I couldn't place it. One evening it had been really bad and I'd gone downstairs to tell my parents. We have a couch in front of a large window (almost the whole backwall is made of glass) upon which my parents sat as I entered the room. When I told what happend I saw the same boy in our garden as he jumped and tripped over something. It really scared me, so I told my parents about that as well. My father seemed a little on edge, but he told me I was just sleepy. A few years later my father came into his painting phase (which still continues this day) and he made one painting that particularly shocked me: the boy. It turned out that was my uncle. He had died when he was only eight years old. Electricity cables had broken during a storm and there was a spot where the young children used to jump over the fence. These wires had electricuted him. (My grandpa had told the story before, but I had never linked the two, not until my father told me the name of the boy in the painting)
