@Shytaku Not at all. Gundam Seed wins hands down. Macross wasn't bad. But the idea of a pop star and music totally altering the course of a battle... for lack of a better way to say it, it's a little cheesy... Thank you for the truth by the way. Been waiting for one for a while.

Ohhh!!! tough call. I like Shaft's anime more and Mahoromatic was one of the reasons I got into anime to begin with. I find their works more...memorable even if Kyoto animation makes "prettier" anime. But when it comes to staffing quality Kyoto treats their employees a little better and Shaft sort of skimps on animation even if they generally tell better stories. I'd give it to Kyoto just because of the problems they do have, it's much easier to fix. Of course I don't know enough about both companies to make as solid a call as I'd like, But I don't feel like looking it up and doing research so this is my off hand opinion.
