Dating sites.

A topic some see embarrassing and personal. Not everyone feels safe about it nor wants to talk about it because a guy got a boner over how a girl is beautiful trying his luck with overused pickup line's and sexual content making one feel unusual in such situation.

Yes, I do. As I said you can do what you want. We obviously have different views and values. Wat. I do no longer use these sites because they gave me eye cancer and made me cringe. Not because I cared about their opinions. And sorry, but I never saw giving up those sites as anyhow life-changing. It wasn't. Again, I left these sites because they did nothing for me. Not because I'm a damsel in distress. Believe what you want. It's your right of course. But don't try to back-track my dislike for such dating sites to self-worth issues or desperation. It simply means I think differently from you.

@toujou Yeah, sadly. But here it certainly happens less often than on tinder and such. But internet stays internet.

Mostly because todays concept of "dating" means sex only and thats it and not dating because of "romance" and future planning.

If those sites were potentially life changing you wouldn't know now, now would you? Once upon a time, I was on a social game that I found to be mostly toxic. I met a lot o people that I allowed to affect my happiness. Upon considering deleting my account, I decided to give it one. more. go and really put myself out there. I was not expecting much... nothing actually. Just a little positivity would've sufficed. Through a chain of events from that day, I met my kindred spirit- we have been friends for EIGHT years. I mean like we visit each other from over seas, our family knows one another, we write, skype and send packages on a constant. If I had let the toxicity of people that really didn't matter deter me I would have missed that opportunity completely. @Toujou : Both women and men have the potential to be too desperate, corny and thirsty just in unique ways.

As I said. Not worth it. To you it is. Great on you and I'm glad that some girls do profit from these sites! :) Again, good on you. Cheers to the good seeds. I never had problems meeting friends and partners irl, so to me this was like an Add-on. One, that I gladly got rid off. But that's the point. I left these sites because they either bored or disgusted me. Not because I felt hurt or scared. People are different.

@MaliceRaven True. Even women do act like that but its a small percentage. Talking about social game. Even on those it happens, toxic and full of paedophiles who extort nudes from underaged girls which is one game that I used to play three years ago but I will agree with you because that is how I met my old best friend in there who was one of the rare people you can find on toxic places like these.
