I always wanted a tanuki but for some reason a relationship with a turtle seems more stable.

I feel like turtles, much like humans, grow frustrated with age. They used to let me handle them and even pet their heads.. now they don't. Unless it's feeding time.

:v how unfortunate That reminds me of that one time my friends dragged me to a farmer's market and there was a lady selling goat cheese and one of my friends asked her about her goats. She went on this odd rant and I felt like she was objectifying goats. At one point she said "If they get infected with that, at that point you should just throw the goat in the trash" And for some reason my laughter was hardly containable
