Confessions

Closest thing to an actual confession is just when I ask to date a person. I only ask when I'm interested, but I really don't know why I'm interested in a person. I just am. There are just times when you can't list things about a person you like. I just like the person, not just bits and pieces. I truly don't get why I would have to say what exactly I like about them, I can't explain feelings.

@hoodedfang That's exactly the type of answer I'd expect from you :D Confessing...is really difficult. People can be so cruel.

Ive confessed in the past, and its worked out well in some cases, like my ex for example. She loved the confidence i had to straight up tell her i wanted her, she liked the fact i didnt beat around the bush like other guys. And i have been reject to, and its always better to be told upfront that you've been rejected by someone. It's always bothered me when a girl is not sure what to say when it happens and just acts weird. Like if they dont like the guy back, just say so. Dont beat around the bush like a fool and make it weird. Its an annoying part of it all. To just sit there and say nothing of it is stupid. People need to be unafraid to confess and reject. Be honest.

@Bardal Agreed. After a good moment of trying to kill my shyness, I just go for it.

I just popped back into this thread for a minute and I wanted to make a quick point about what Bardal said about women not being very forthright about their feelings. The general rule seems to be that women get a lot more attention directed at them than men do, and often they've learned that there are a lot of men out there who don't take "no" very well. I think there's an underlying fear of violence or other scary behavior on the part of men that makes some woman really terrified to give a blunt, direct answer. There's also the fact that they know it can hurt a guy's pride, so they often want to try and be as gentle as they can about it. Some guys do this too, but generally speaking I think guys tend to be more blunt when they aren't interested. Really I just think the fear of reprisal is a lot stronger for women, and they have a lot of good reasons for that to be a real concern. Anyway, that's just my thoughts. ----------- My confession is that I probably have a little too much free time on my hands at work today. XD

@Shawnji, In regards to that, I confess that I had a guy on here get mad because when he asked me how I was doing, I said, "I'm doing good, thanks" and not something like, "OMG, I'm feeling so sugoi!!! How are you, desu?!! X3" He commented on my wall that I was a redneck and a racist (even though race was never mentioned in our conversation)and sent me PMs about how if my skin is pale that means I must be white and I should want to kill myself for being single and 25.

I just told him that being pale doesn't mean I'm not Xicana. We come in all skin tones! His response was something like this: https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/564x/05/58/c9/0558c9e85b141445e85d741af89cf5b8.jpg

Haha i can't, i'm dying. The ignorance of some people is astounding xD. All ethnicities/races have different skin tones. I have some white friends who get these crazy tans that you wouldn't even think they were white
