Yeah it's good to be considerate. And a guy who slouches and spreads his legs like a pornstar on public transport looks like a jackass. but when you consider testicles as well as the anatomical design of male hips, you can forgive a guy for a little spreading for comfort.

Generally touching without consent is frowned upon in the United States. It's courteous to give space to your neighbors. Public transport isn't as common here so getting used to overcrowding and being smushed together isn't common.

I lie down and take up four seats at the back of the bus. If the old lady and the two school children at the front have a problem they can bite me to be honest.
