marilyn monroe should really not be used as a beauty icon thicc women like to say "well she was fat and gorgeous" but thats really not true she popped diet pills and hated her body, to the extent of being severely underweight https://i.pinimg.com/736x/03/52/3f/03523f141e12d5d6714315a4e7407a20--marilyn-monroe--marilyn-monroe-costume.jpg shes an example of what unhealthy beauty standards and the modeling industry can do to someone not a symbol of beauty...... she killed herself ffs, hardly a good example, more like a good warning of what can happen when you out yourself in the spotlight for others to judge
