Posting your poems.

its been a while since i wrote poetry, but heres an old one i had to do in class The rose and the serpent A beauty unlike no other seen This lovely rose that I have seen This garden of Eden where children ran But where all life as we know began It's radiance would attract many For it is lovely and uncanny Those who stare at it would not reject For even beyond sight, heart and mind they will always connect This rose bush no one sight dare leaves it We can never escape it's beauty. It is almost as if we were bewitched But as beautiful it may be a serpent wishes to enter Horrid being yet intelligent so strong and yet so slender This serpent hungers for it. It cries for it. It's lust for its beauty. Animal of god it may be but we all know this being was once a monstrosity It has entered the bush of roses crawling causing it pain The bush crying crying almost dying...but there's something to gain For as the rose bush feels the serpent within They are now making splendid sin.

Just know that though my submission I do this only for my master. I still love you and adore you! Make me the woman I wish to be! Take my reigns to lift me up Careful that I won't see Force me in next pull me down Do all that is justified For it is not what I think It's all that I am served Maybe if I'm worth something Wake my spirit another day Come towards my headstone Preach your voice and pray.
