The only episode of "Clannad" I ever watched. There was a cat and a girl and I didn't really know what was going on but it made it rain for sure. Besides that the latter episodes of "Angel Beats!" and the movie "X" get me every time.

Don't forget Chrono Crusade! Not sure if anyone has mentioned this anime here but WOW everytime I even hear one of the soundtrack songs I end up in this ball blubbering like a baby. It just hits you right in the gut :(

Your Lie In April - new anime that aired it's last episode only a few months ago, manga is ELEVEN CHAPTERS ... the anime is TWENTY TWO EPISODES ... probably the most canon/true-to-manga anime every created this makes the legendary clannad (AND after story) seem like hollywood click-bate in comparison, i know that being arrogant discredits the anime, so i apologize, but for real, the amount of sadness in this anime rivals suicide
