if anything, I think it's (B)'s motivation for revealing his face. If you really want to meet a girl here, I think it's more important to connect with her and try to get to know her, then imply that she should like you because you have the balls to show your real face...? ah... D'X trust me, I think that'll take you farther. people here don't show their real faces because it's the internet, and a safe haven, but i don't think not showing it hinders your chances at all. it's really personality and how you present yourself, especially through the internet. granted, people could have criticized your methods nicer, but there'll always be critics. it's brave of you to show your real face, but i don't think it's good to expect that more girls will like you just for showing it. you don't have to apologize for making this thread. but i think some people got offended by your expectations :O
