What do you think about Yaoi and Yuri?

depends, if it done realistically with heart and talent, both are cool; i lean toward Yuri dominantly; Sakura Trick is gold here :) however, if done purely for smut, probably not either, idk, preference aside - like boku no pico art or not, didn't do justice for "actual anime??"

Ehh depends on the story, since I avoid those categorys I dont really know any. But I think Kannazuki no Miko was yuri which sucked. Dub sucked, story sucked, mechas looked like cereal box transformers. Despite this I always finish an anime but mostly watched for the opening and ending themes. Love Kotoko!

I prefer Yaoi over yuri because I have yet to run into a good yuri story. The yaoi stories tend to have a huge range of characters some of which I have actually met (meaning I know people who are just like them). Where the writing of girls... well most are obsessed with love, fashion, manipulative, and pretty much the ditzy school girl type. Some girls rock in the shows, movies and mangas, but if I want to read a romantic story I want Yaoi over Yuri or straight. I like the idea, but it seems something is lacking.

What do i think about yaoi and yuri? I think that if you remove the 'y' in each of them, you're left with blue and melon.

Both are excellent as an opinion :p Strawberry Panic <3 is love Junjou Romantica <3 is love (is it weird those two had exactly the same number of letters? lol) But no, I love yaoi, yuri and hentai -_^

i respect yaoi and yuri but as far as watching it idk XD i feel like the romance moves way faster than in regular romance anime XD like by episode 3 usually they already kiss and junk lol
