Do you really need your bf/gf to like anime?

edtastic
It'd be a plus but it's not that important, As long as you really like the person it shouldn't be a big deal.

No I actually enjoy it when we have very different interests. Getting introduced to new things is pretty cool.

I would enjoy it if we could sit and watch it together maybe, but its no requirement. Not many share my undying obsession with Harry Potter, and i'm alright with that. I've dated all types of people and it's never occurred to me if I really prefer them to like anime or not, it would be nice... Buuut if they didn't like video games or food I think that would be my problems. I love to cook way too much xD

Not necessary but yeah that would be very great. I'm actually going to wait for someone who likes anime and the things I like just because I feel I deserve it. It wouldn't be a dealbreaker though in the unlikely event I fell in love.

I think it's a must or else there must be something off with theme if they don't. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/13/0d/02/130d0221ce68d1048c32798f2cfc334c.gif CRAZY ...

Yes. Absolutely.

I have dated plenty of guys who didn't care for anime and dated some that did, and I find that having someone that you can share something with is amazing. A have a huge passion for Japanese culture including anime so I think it's a must to have someone with a similar interest, plus it's fun to talk to them about it later and share perspective on a certain show or movie.

I would say yes. I've spent a long time with no one who shares my interests and it makes me feel isolated and lonely. It's not a deal breaker tho as long as they're understanding.

I personally would prefer someone who shares my geeky attitude u know? It's a bit boring when every time you nerd out over a tv show and your bf/gf feels left out or meh about it. U can't have a good passionate discussion that way
