Harrassment at MoMo Con

I went to this convention and nothing weird happened to me nor did I see anything out of the ordinary. Really all I did was observe/wander 4 days I was by myself and didn't make any friends cos I'm horribly shy but that's ALL and ONLY my fault and not the people or convention. I made it one big human observation experiment. The security/staff seemed really passive and chill. Attendees were with their own mini groups of friends interacting with themselves. Every other dealer table selling the same bootleg Pokemon plush you can get on Chinese websites for $3. The hotel employees welcomed and acknowledged your existence. As for the "dress provocatively" comment it doesn't just apply to provocative costume. If you wear anythingggggg there will be someone who will say/do something. When I wear my costume outside of the convention to get dinner I expect an "outsider" to stare or do some name calling. Do I want that to happen no but just realize there is a possibility for it. Hell I can wear my costume AND be all decked out with Seattle Seahawks gear and someone will randomly say "Seahawks suck ass" stuff like that. Again, I walked around downtown Atlanta alone at midnight in costume. Weirdos came out to meet me which I expected and was confident about it cos I'm alone so much. I heard weird things go down at the raves but I can't confirm. I hate the rave music I like country and heavy metal so I couldn't be bothered to check it out. ANYWAY a convention should be a safe place for everyone to interact, except for those of my type we'll just be on the outside looking in cos everyone else has friends around, and fun for all! Trying to get a date/get laid at a con? Not happening! Majority of that population is guys and very few single girls lol even the girls don't want anime/comics guys.
